Material Grade Hardness Characteristics Applications
SW318H Pre-hardened to HRC 28-36 Prehardened Forged steel. Hardness homogeneity, texturability and thermal conductivity are all better than conventional Chinese 2311 plastic mould steel. Suitable for small to medium production run for plastic injection mould for interior part of automobile and housing for household applicances; not suitable for moulding corrosive resins such as POM, PVC and etc.
SW718H Pre-hardened to HRC 30-36 Prehardened Forged steel. Compactness, purity and quality are all better than conventional Chinese 738 plastic mould steel. Suitable for medium production run for plastic injection mould for exterior/interior part of automobile, housing for household applicances and office equipment; not suitable for moulding corrosive resins such as POM, PVC and etc.
SW718HH Pre-hardened to HRC 36-40
SWGH13-P Annealed to HB229(max) SWGH13-P has undergone EF+LF+VD+multi-direction forging process to achieve good thermoplasticity and isotropism. Suitable for through-hardened plastic injection mould for those non-corrosive resins; slider and lifter for plastic injection mould; small size of Zn die casting die for small to medium production run.
SWQH13-P Annealed to HB229(max) SWQH13-P has undergone EF++LF+VD+ESR steel making process to achieve high purity and fine microstructure,better isotropism comparing with conventional H13.High level of resistance to thermal shock ,good toughness and thermoplasticity. Suitable for light-alloy die casting die, Al alloy extrusion die, components for die casting, e.g. nozzles; through-hardened plastic injection mould for non-corrosive resins.
SWPH13 Annealed to HB229(max) SWPH13 has undergone EF+LF+VD+Protective Gas ESR steel making process ,the special multi-direction forging process and high temperature homogenization and ultra-fine treatment.The steel quality meets the requirements of North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) #207 for premium high quality H-13 die steel.High level of resistance to thermal fatigue; high hardenability;good high-temperature strength and toughness;both excellent mirror polishabilty and etchability. Suitable for light-alloy die casting die, Al alloy extrusion die, components for die casting, e.g. nozzles; through-hardened plastic injection mould for non-corrosive resins with high surface finish requirement.
